THE WORLD COULD USE MORE KINDNESS

On Friday we attended a memorial service, celebrating a special lady with an amazing legacy. She was know for her kindness. The pastor, Danny Haas, defined kindness as "doing something without expecting anything in return" and for the benefit of those in attendance, shared some practical steps on "How to be Kind".
  1. Start by seeing the needs of people around us. Be observant.
  2. Sympathize with peoples pain. Put yourself in their place.
  3. Seize the moment. Don't procrastinate.
  4. Spend whatever it takes. (Good Samaritan's example-below)
The pastor's comments were based on the story of the Good Samaritan, found in the Bible HERE.
