Twenty five years ago, Maya Shock was my fine arts instructor.
In Maya's class, students would tend to overwork their paintings, and toward the end of our sessions she would always chant "Quit Before You're Finished".
Strange how some things stick with you for a lifetime. I thought about Maya when viewing this painting, and think the emotion captured may have been lost if the artist had not "Quit before they were Finished". Check out this time lapse video HERE.
