Two years ago Mom and I visited some "monuments" from her life. Moms' long term memory is crystal clear about events that took place during these early years.
Dad was stationed at Fort Indiantown Gap and decided to check out the closest Church of God. Turns out he checked out more than just the church, since this was the same church our Mom attended. They eventually married. She was 19 years old. The year was 1941, one year after she graduated from Carlisle High School.
Mom's Sunday School Class was in this tower - (above the sign and behind the window). She told me she has fond memories of this room.
This building used to be the elementary school where Mom said she attended.
