EARLY MORNING HIKE

It was chilly as our grandson Noah and I conquered the difficult section of Lakeside Trail early this morning. The lake was frozen, at least on the York side of the Gifford Pinchot State Park day use area. We enjoyed the interesting sound that small rocks make when thrown across the ice covered lake. Except for seeing a small doe just outside the park, the rest of the wildlife was sleeping during our entire hike.
