When I was working for Morefield Communications, Memorial Hospital in York, PA called and said they were looking for a way to make an announcement throughout the hospital, every time a baby is born. I recall saying, "what a fun project!" "I can help you with that!"
So, after meeting with Memorial Hospital representatives, I headed to Radio Shack and purchased some lullaby soundtracks and loaded them into an automated player, which our technicians linked to the telephone system. In this busy hospital environment the operation of the "lullaby" system had to be simple, so we designed it so a nurse could simply call a number from anywhere in the hospital, to instantly play a lullaby - throughout the entire hospital!
Fast forward 20 years.
Yesterday our 14th grandchild was born at Memorial Hospital and when our daughter took this 30 sec. video, guess what we heard? Check this out......
