Gettysburg National Military Park

Our Mom is a big fan of the 388 National Parks in the US - and one of her favorites is in our backyard. The Gettysburg National Military Park protects the landscape of the Battle of Gettysburg. 

She also has her share of the 15,000 books that have been written about our 16th president. President Lincoln was the second speaker on the day that the cemetery at Gettysburg was dedicated. His Gettysburg Address is only 272 words, but is considered one of the most important speeches in American history.
