A LIFE WELL LIVED

During the course of his life and ministry, Dr. Billy Graham preached before more than 200 million people in person and through TV and radio broadcast worldwide, and saw more than 3 million people commit their lives to Christ at his crusades. Moreover, through his work with The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Dr. Graham helped organize the 1966 World Conference on Evangelism in Berlin and the 1974 International Congress on World Evangelization in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Dr. Graham also authored more than 25 bestselling books and numerous resources, including Peace with God, The Holy Spirit, Hope for Each Day, The Journey, The Reason for My Hope, and Where I Am. The message shared through his speaking, books, and events has remained consistent throughout--that the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is available to all who are willing to accept it, regardless of who they are or where they've come from.

“Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.” Billy Graham

Speaking at TED in 1998, Rev. Billy Graham marvels at technology's power to improve lives and change the world -- but says the end of evil, suffering and death will come only after the world accepts Christ. A legendary talk from TED's archives.
