KING OF ROUTINE, GAME NIGHT

My sister in law Pampering Pap's Pampered Riding Mower

My Father-in-Law would have been 86 years old today!
He left us with special memories of a caring husband and father. I will never forget how well he took care of everything he owned, especially his riding mower. Actually, he was the king of routine.

In the fall he completely emptied gas from the mower and filled the tank with paper towels, removed the spark plugs, greased the fittings, removed all fuses, waxed the entire mower and even covered it with a blanket! His daughter Jeanne took over putting the mower to bed after his death in 2011. (above picture) He is missed. (I hope my riding mower doesn't see this blog.)

We are looking forward to Game Nights in 2018!
Caleb Man and Hannah Banana
These are pictures of a game night a few years ago with two of our grandkids. We enjoyed TREATS and TABOO, LAUGHS and the board game LIFE.

The game Taboo is a word game and got a little crazy since the hour glass didn't allow much time to guess many words. Even though Caleb is 8 years old he gave terrific clues to his Nana.

The Board Game known as LIFE was originally created in 1860. It simulates a person's travels through his or her life, from college to retirement, with jobs, marriage, and possible children along the way. Our banker Hannah Banana did a great job counting all of our money. In the end, each of us made more than ONE MILLION dollars!
