BETWEEN A PLACE & A HARD ROCK

I have been consuming the book "Sneezing Jesus" by Brian Hardin and when I saw this rock on the lake today, it reminded me of Chapter 5 - Between A Place and A Hard Rock. The chapter described the battle between Truth and Assumptions - or as Brennan Manning wrote, "the imposture within us" versus our "true self". 

Chapter 5 was amazing and Brian ended with "together we spin on this big beautiful rock we call home. And upon this rock Jesus will build HIs church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. We are invited into this. Why continue to doubt it: Why not fully engage with heart, mind and will? Why not become Christ-like? Why not become fully human? Why not become true?
