For those of you who didn't hear through the grapevine, I was hospitalized M-F last week for a sebaceous cyst that burst and became infected which in turn went into my blood causing a very serious sepsis infection. To say that it was an excruciatingly painful experience is an understatement. Throw in the fact that I had about 7 straight days of no sleep, not good for a person with MS who suffers from chronic fatigue, and we definitely had a situation. You all know that this girl has been through a lot over the past 10 years; however, I'm here to say that I'm not angry and I'm certainly not asking, Why me?" Geez folks, we have never been promised anywhere, including my life book, The Bible, that our lives would be easy. Life is hard, but life is good. I'm so grateful to be alive yet again after this most recent experience that I couldn't be more grateful. I'm not happy b/c my life is easy, I'm happy b/c God gave me life and I'm living it every day. Happy Monday friends and family. Hug someone today and tell them you love them. :)
Jeremiah 29:11-13- For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me with all your heart.
