Sometimes we marvel only in the created thing and not its' creator....
Today I listened to a podcast by the author of the book "Eyes Wide Open". The author said his intent was to walk people toward what they really want. Ultimately, that is not just the experience of a sunset at Cousler Park, beautiful music, or beautiful food or beautiful fragrances or beautiful stories or beautiful homes or beautiful bodies or perfect marriages or any other pleasure this world has to offer. "We were made for a better place and for a better person, and all the beauties of this world whisper that to our soul. All created beauty is meant to lead us to greater wonder, not of the created order itself but of the One who created it."
"What if people were to realize that every rich moment enjoyed in this life isn’t ultimately about itself but is an expression and reflection of God’s essential character?"
