We were introduced to the song "What's Love Got To Do With It?" by a young girl named Trista - a couple decades ago as she sang it over and over during an entire game of bowling.
It came to mind again yesterday, while listening to a podcast where Timothy Dailey discusses his book, The Paranormal Conspiracy: The Truth about Ghosts, Aliens and Mysterious Beings. In the podcast he noted that topics that once belonged to the fringes of the occult world have suddenly found their way onto every television channel.
And last evening the song again started playing in my head, when my wife and I watched a movie where an escaped convict holds a single woman and her son hostage. However, as the movie continued the convict's interaction with them changed his heart and he ended up marrying the woman.So What's Love Got To Do With it?
Everything!
- Timothy Daily says in his book, the reason people gravitate to the Paranormal is because of a craving for genuine love and meaning in their life. In the movie, a complete change in behavior of the killer came only after the convict experienced genuine love by and for his hostages.
