LOOKING AHEAD TO ANOTHER YEAR

Took this pic of Mark Twain's gravestone at
Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira New York 7/2014

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you
didn't do than by the things you did." (Mark Twain)

Twain often said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started". But then he also said, "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow". Interesting guy!

Probably one of the most famous quotes by Mark Twain...

“I came in with Halley’s Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet."

As he predicted, he died on April 21, 1910, the day after Halley’s Comet made its closest pass. He was 74 years old.
