Watched this movie yesterday (based on a true story about 20 years ago). A young officer stages a mutiny on a US nuclear missile sub to prevent his commander from launching missiles, before confirming orders to do so.
The bottom line was that the world had come to within a hairs breadth of a nuclear war, based on the judgement of one submarine commander. At the end on the movie this screen graphic appeared.
If this change was designed to bolster confidence, for me it did not.
