1976 YOUTH CONVENTION

Today I noticed dialog on Facebook about some of the activities at our old church in York, PA during the 1970's. 

Back then I helped with a youth convention, which was held in the Farm Show Arena.  Our church youth group would attend this yearly event, and among other things the group was intensely passionate about a "booth" competition.

Church was at the center of our lives in the '70's, in large part because of the sensitive leadership of Pastor S. W. Brewer, who married my wife and I more than 45 years ago.
