CRUEL IRONY

First day of spring is tomorrow and wouldn't you know, our forecast is snow. 

Visited the lake today and although the ice is melting; there is no wildlife, not even a duck or squirrel. My picture taking was reduced to tree roots. 

Hoping for warmer days ahead.
