"In fall and winter you feel the bone structure of the landscape — the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. But something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show." (Quote by Andrew Wyeth)
When I read this quote today it reminded me of my friend of almost 20 years; the friend I call "Stevie Wonder". It is his birthday and one of the many things I appreciate about Steve is his uncanny ability to see the best in everyone he meets. (the bone structure of the person).
I think he realizes that the person in front of him may be going through a difficult season, but something waits. He sees potential - their whole story just doesn't show. Yet.
My wife and I wish this special friend a very special birthday today. If you read this Steve, let's do the lake sometime this winter.
