August 2014 has been relatively cool and my wife's crepe myrtle is enjoying the good weather. This morning after getting permission from the bees I took this picture. The flowers come in many shapes and sizes, they love heat and humidity, tolerate drought, and grow quickly. Wait, did you just hear that laugh?
