SOCCER, SUNNI & SHIA, MESSIAH COLLEGE, BONO, FOUR STAGES, SUCCESS

We watched our granddaughter win a great soccer match yesterday.  Who says a pretty girl can't play (and win) against an all boy's team?  Click HERE

Just one of the benefits of being a grandparent is that you get to re-experience 10th grade at Dover High.  This morning I learned the difference between Sunni and Shia sects of Islam after printing a project for our grandson Joshua Hogan.  Click HERE for his picture.

This weekend I also got to experience the stress of a college senior while taking pictures of our daughters impressive media projects. Click HERE for a picture of Melody Ritchey.

Was watching a discussion between Bono and Letterman today.  Dave asked Bono why his new album has been delayed.  Bono's 30 second answer is interesting.  I wonder how often we settle for good when we could have had great?  Click HERE to view this video segment.

My friend Jeff shared THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE with me earlier today:

1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

And a definition of SUCCESS:

At age 4 success is . . . . not piddling in your pants.
At age 12 success is . . . having friends.
At age 17 success is . . having a driver's license.
At age 35 success is . . .. .having money.
At age 50 success is . .. . having money.
At age 70 success is . .. . having a drivers license.
At age 75 success is . . . having friends.
At age 80 success is . . .. not piddling in your pants.
