Pap's Pampered Riding Mower

Ten years ago today he left us with special memories of a caring husband and father. I will never forget how well he took care of everything he owned, especially his riding mower. Actually, he was the "king of routine".

In the fall he completely emptied gas from the mower and filled the tank with paper towels, removed the spark plugs, greased the fittings, removed all fuses, waxed the entire mower and even covered it with a blanket! His daughter took over putting his mower to bed for the winter after his death in 2011. (above picture) He is missed. (I hope my mower doesn't see this blog post.)

Pap spent hours on his deck watching this guy.
