Galatians 1:11-12 - "Paul discovered a personal relationship with God himself – no more secondhand rumor but first-hand faith. He immediately knew that God was not what he had been told at all – that was all a lie.
God was not against but for. God was not furious but compassionate. God was not out to get sinners so that he could make them good and sorry; he was out to get sinners so that he could make them good and joyful.
This truth about God came to Paul in the person of God's son, Jesus Christ."
