6-12-16 So I'm at Round The Clock Diner on Friday with three guys, when the waitress walks up and shares that her father recently had multiple heart attacks.
One of the guys responds, "Karen, would you mind if we pray for your father, and for you, right here, before we order?" She responds, "I would appreciate that". Jeff Callander proceeds to lead in a heartfelt and thoughtful prayer, seizing the moment.
My point? Jeff sets a good example of "One Doing What They Are Advising Others To Do".
Read on....
Jeff Callender teaches a small group that has been studying a book called "Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit" by Francis Chan. He has been encouraging the group to pray for increased sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's leading - so we don't miss those "special moments" - to reach out to help our friends, our co-workers, our kids, our spouse ..... our waitress!
Thank you for being real, Jeff.
