Two years ago on this (very cold) day, my friend Jeff and I visited the Gettysburg Battlefield. I'm told it took 6 horses to get each 2,500 pound cannon (as shown in the picture) in place. Amazing feat, when you consider where they were manufactured and how many were needed.
