BALLGAME IN THE RAIN

The Baltimore Orioles took the field in a steady rain after a 15-minute delay at the beginning of yesterday afternoon’s game at Camden Yards.

But after more than a 2-hour rain delay, most of the announced 33,085 had long departed.

The damp remaining few, including my friends and I, were treated to a nice time - but a long, dragged-out game. There were some that got worried that the game may never resume, especially the guy in the middle. 

But things started looking up when they removed the tarp and started to put down dry sand, so play could resume. The guy in the middle got especially happy. Click on the picture and it will enlarge.
