NATURE IS IN FULL TERM

As I walked the trail yesterday, there were signs of birth - but it seemed that nature was in "travail", that is, engaged in a laborious effort to release life.

The whispers of push, push, push - and quiet counting to 10 by the trees reinforced this sense. New birth has begun, but its hard to spot without looking, and listening closely.
