I have a number of reoccurring activities that I do each week, one of which is to create sermon notes for our church.
Over the years I've stumbled onto some ideas when creating power point presentations, so I plan to share one idea on Wednesdays of each week. Hopefully, this may help someone as they prepare a power point presentation for their church or business.
TODAY'S IDEA
I like using gif images since there is no background and they works well when layering images over each other. (donkey and palm branch). When you search for an image, just add the word gif at the end. Adding shadows on the gif image improves the look of the edges. Here are a couple of examples that I plan to use this coming Palm Sunday.
The words in bold and underlined are linked to paper sermon notes that are handed out to each person in attendance. On their copy, there is a blank that allows them to fill in the words, which helps keep them awake during the sermon.
SPRING SIGHTING
Stopped by Cousler Park last evening but there was no wildlife.
Just as I was about to leave, two ducks came out of nowhere. Guess they thought I may have some food.
And when I was pulling out of the parking lot, high in the sky more visitors were headed for the park.
Guess spring is right around the corner after all.
