GRANDKIDS ARE GRAND

UNFAIR ADVANTAGE - I've always wondered why competitors have such a hard time keeping up with our granddaughter.  Now I know.

The only time Summer touches the ground is to kick the ball and during the rest of the match she is running on air. (click on picture to enlarge)

 

TREMENDOUS GOALIE - It's next to impossible to get the soccer ball by our grandson Tate Ritchey. During the last game he had awesome saves and showed incredible effort when making a flying dive to save a PK (penalty kick). The kid has incredibly quick hands.  We are looking forward to seeing him play again on Saturday. 

A BOOK TO REMEMBER - Even though my father passed away long before Caleb Hogan was born, it is nice to know my father is not forgotten.  A couple days ago it was heart warming to see Caleb working on a school project that described Dad's service to our country. 

Sometimes it seems only kids that cause trouble dominate the news, but there is a quiet majority of kids in this country who give hope to our future.
