ON THIS DAY ONE YEAR AGO......AMAZING!

My wife and I drove to the airport to pick up our niece from France last evening. The one who likes American gum and toothpaste - and the Mom of 4 special kids.

She told us that during her layover in London, she was reading this blog. Amazing! Stop to think about this. Anna lives in France, nearby the Switzerland and Germany borders. And once she was in the air, we were able to track her flight (LIVE) as the plane made its way to the United States.

We were waiting in the international terminal where she exited a door and immediately saw us. In less than ten minutes we were in our car and headed toward home. This experience got me to thinking. Are we guilty of taking this technology for granted? It's no big deal, right? It happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Well, I think it is a big deal. Actually. It is amazing that technology allows a person to be transported at 500 mph to a precise location almost 4,000 miles away. If Orville and Wilbur Wright would have hung around for 100 years, they would only have one word to say. "AMAZING!"
