45th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

On Thursday we will travel to Mystic, Connecticut to celebrate 45 years of marriage.

While there, I will be taking my wife to see Reba McEntire.

Mystic is a historic seaport, where we like to walk along the Bascule Drawbridge, which crosses the Mystic river in the center of the village. Here you find a mixture of sights and sounds; small shops, friendly seagulls, music from boardwalk musicians, waves hitting the shore, horns from outgoing ships and the unique alarm when the drawbridge is ready to rise.  

Mohegan Sun Arena holds 10,000 people and is where we will see Reba perform.  The arena is on an Indian Reservation, about 30 minutes from Mystic. We are also looking forward to seeing the 55 foot indoor waterfall and three story crystal mountain adjacent to the arena.

Of course, the highlight of this trip will be spending quality time with my best friend.
