THE TRUE PICTURE

It was a moving service this morning as Joni shared how joy can be found in suffering. 


I was struck by the impact that Jon Eareckson Tada has had on so many people, not just in York PA, but worldwide; not in spite of, but because of her disability.  Literally hundreds packed into the campus (we saw her live and she was simulcast from there to other buildings)

I loved one of her illustrations about a telescope. She said many perceive God to be like a star, a tiny light in the sky.  We are big, the star small.  But a telescope gives us the true picture when looking at a star.  God is big, we are small.  The many experiences Joni shared this morning provide ample proof that God's strength is made real in her weakness.
